question to UPS pilots
I noticed that with most of the legacy carriers, the more senior airplanes and routes are the international routes in the largest aircraft due to the fact that they pay the best. I also noticed that in the airline profiles for UPS they pay appears to be the same regardless of what aircraft you fly. I was curious which airplanes are most junior and senior and if more junior pilots can get good international routes or if international is still more senior. Thanks in advance for your info!

Well, international doesnt necessarily mean good. It does tend to pay a bit more though. Some international stuff is really nice, while some of it is downright brutal.
At UPS the most junior aircraft are the 747-400 and MD-11 in ANC. But if they were moved to a lower 48 crew base they would be fairly senior.
In the 757/767 ONT base there is a mix of domestic and international flying. The international stuff in ONT goes very senior, mostly due to the fact that they tend to be high paying lines, usually involving only one commute a month if you live out of base.

To tag on to the others. We are paid the same regardless of fleet. Every Fleet and seat has its share of senior CPT's and PFO's (Professional First Officer's <bg>, bypassing Capt for quality of life)
Since pay is same by seat, most bid the fleet that suits there particular needs and lifestyle. Each fleet has a spread of quality in the lines. You will gravitate towards a fleet that serves you. You know what they say, one person's nightmare is another person's dream. i.e. some like domestic flights and don't mind sitting the sort. Others cringe and fly trips that avoid the sort. Fleets schedules can be dynamic. Quality of lines goes up, but mostly down. UPS is very good at maximizing volume on planes and only puts stuff on an airplane that cannot meet the delivery timeline by ground/rail/truck/ship etc. Presently, our A300 crews are getting the snot kicked outta them, just about all there lines are busy and not all that prime. So seniority lets one choose days on/off, etc.
