"I am noticing a lot of you don't seem to have a lot 121 Jet time...in fact I am noticing a lot of 135 and TProp time."
I think it's safe to assume that anyone who has 121 experience is staying at the company where they got it unless they were furloughed. I don't think I've ever heard of a 121 pilot leaving their employer for FDX unless they were, or about to be furloughed. No stats to know for sure, however.

All regional airlines are part 121 now. I had 2 JetBlue, 1 AirTran, 1 Southwest and 3 Northwest guys in my class. Unless I was at UPS, I would leave any other airline to come to FedEx. Actually, I would even think about leaving if I was at UPS. FedEx is where it's at. You guys need to do some research before posting here.
C'mon seriously, comparing FDX to UPS is like deciding if million dollars would look better in 20s or in 50s?

Agreed. I just can't stand the brown uniforms and leather jackets.

I've grown to like the uniform (mainly because it's free ) but I've always liked Perrone jackets and I only wish it was black... I ran into a dude who said his jacket was the worst thing he'd ever worn - I told him the IPA jacket donation program for those who now have to pay for it was still in effect...

got on a UAL jet years ago when we wore our lighter browns for a commercial DH after an all nighter. Woman asked if I was a UAL pilot, said "No, I am a cargo dog and not really a pilot at all" She said, "Oh good, your uniform is ugly". Captain gave me the shut up look, but pointed out that we were not wearing uniforms, but our company issued pajamas. That got her to laugh.

If I was at UPS or FedEx and the other called, I would stay put. Why mess with an already good thing at either place?
