Thumbs up

This needs to be on the bar and grill. It is the only place where all the old guys still believe this is a money grab by management and that none of the bottom 300 are volunteering.

I saw this slide show and got more worried than I was before. If we furlough we will be out for 3-5 years. Not only that but management will be laughing their ARSES off if we can't unify enough to save furloughees. They will be licking their chops when 2012 and contract negotiations arrive.

It is 23 slides and audio of the staffing being presented by the IPA at the recent GMM's. Go to volunteer furlough prevention section and it is on the right side it says Andy M. statistics. There was also a link in yesterdays IPNN.

If anyone thinks this is a money grab after those slides they need their heads examined. IMHO it is absolutely amazing that Atlanta is even considering this MOU. I know if I was running Atlanta there would be 300-500 furloughs June 1st with MAYBE a recall in 2012-2013.

Do you really think the other 2564 pilots left after a furlough won't pick up O/T or J/A's for 3-5 years? HaHA

It just amazes me the number of guys here who could give a rat's ass about all this. Astoundingly out of the 846 guys who signed up on the survey only 350 have actually participated? I should have known, of course, but chose to hope and believe in our "pilot group" as a whole.

Hah, I wonder if Yangtze River Express is hiring?

I think a lot of guys were just waiting to see which program to sign up for. I've only signed up for one js for this year. Before the deadline I am going to sign up for more this year and the next 2.
