If you are healthy enough to empty bed pans and scrub toilets, you shouldn't be getting welfare to start with. Unemployment is not welfare. It is insurance that UPS has paid for. Would you turn down social security benefits? They pay for half of those too. It is ludicrous not to collect if you are eligible.

I suspect Lil J has never been furloughed. Unemployment Compensation is a benefit provided by your employer. It is not welfare or food stamps. You have to have been EMPLOYED to collect.
And in a lot of states, I was making the point that the benefit would exceed the pay from working some crap job at Home Depot selling nails. Not just any job would pay more than collecting the max unemployment benefit which we could qualify for.
Work SMARTER, not harder ... there's my pride.

I'll tell you what: If the day has come when UPS!!! is going to furlough, then the ****** has really hit the fan gents.
The fecal matter may have just hit the rotating blade.

Blah blah blah. It's getting something for not working and I won't take it. I'm not judging those that do take. I just would rather literallu flip burgers than take $400 a week for doing nothing.
i think it's ironic that some guys refuse to work open time but are spouting out about collecting a free check.
In this profession you have to be prepared for the downturns. Planning on a free check because you are not marketable is not my preferred safety net.
