Default Fdx- ⑤ ⑤ ???

I saw the "Fleet Status" page on pfc referenced in another thread and checked it out. On the Airbus page they have a symbol "⑤ ⑤" that shows that the aircraft is "flt 55 registered and equipped." What does that mean?

If we told you, we would have to make you fly it.

Seriously, Flt 55 is the south american flt that goes thru BOG as flt 56. It does appear to be the tail #'s they use down there, but I don't know why.

Part of it is that they must have life rafts.

Yeah, I see that flt #55 goes from MIA-VLN....maybe that route overflies Cuba?

I just meant that I don't know why, because those are also the acft that are limited to 8500' t/o and landing field elevation, and BOG is 8400'. You would think that they would use the acft that are limited to 9200'.

If the min wasn't the min, it wouldn't be the min. Why waste the extra 800 feet.
