We need to stop going backwards!
Couldnt agree more. If that is happening, the crews need to refuse the GT.

Sure MEMA300, all the while the company continues to ratchet the optimizer up, keep BLG's below contractual guarantees just to "fund" the next deal. If they are saving 17 MIL a month by sticking it to us with 4A2B, and it drags out three years...BINGO! We just paid for our own contract! Brilliant!

On another note, I have been called 8....EIGHT times for draft in the left seat of the MD in the past 2 months.

All the while RLG's/BLG's are at historic lows, in direct violation of our CBA.

There is NO checks a balances. Mark my words, the company will keep these BLGs where they are unless we win the grievance. All additional flying will be thrown to the sharks as draft. And as hungry as we are, the company knows we'll oblige.

We need to stop this non-sense. Big picture people!

Now that PC put the "it's OK because I say so " on the ANC/NRT/NGO the company is streaching out it's legs by adding ANC/NRT/ KIX in MAY
Sure as can be if we do that they will dail it up to TPE in the near future

Question

As for the original question?? First thing as was stated previously " DO NO HARM" to the existing CBA. I think we should try and plug some of the "major" gaps that we already know exist. Maybe take out or clarify some of the gray language out of the existing agreement? Deffinitely stop the scheduling abuse of RFO utilization by adding enroute stops. I don't think that was the original intent of an augmented crew (perhaps the new head of the FAA will have a more sympathetic ear??). We need to tie down the rules of the road for ULR?
Try and put a stop to the continous monthly assult and degradation of our schedules, pay, and lifestyle. Perhaps even a cost of living increase toed to the inflation rate?
Introduce a 25 year and you are "good to go" clause which makes you fully vested in the retirement program (before they up the age to 65-70)

That's wisest thing I've read on here in a while. However, I'd push for the 20yr mark for retirement and 25 year fully vested. The difference between 20 and 25 years isn't worth sticking around five extra unless you spent your money like Michael Vick.

The point is we were barely able to negotiate crumbs during the last two rounds with a great economy. What do you think we will be able to negotiate during one of the largest downturns in the economy in recent history?
