Maybe not? Also, AFLAC is on the list! If they aren't exploiting the heck out of that duck, I just don't know what the definition of "exploit" is!! Makes this whole list suspect.

Don't fly for brown, but I did drive for them for 11 years. Ethics and UPS are NOT to be used in the same sentence, unless it is the lead in for a sick joke. Maybe you guys are treated better on the airline side of things, but their dealings with hourlies (union and non-union), lower tier management, and franchisees are utterly ruthless and abominable. The paycheck always cleared, so in that sense they were ethical.

Hey chignutsak,

The hourlies (union and non-union) relationship on the air side sounds the same as you experienced on the ground side ... FWIW

With the exception that someone from the ground side may actually rise in the ranks to Atlanta, Pilots will never get the opportunity to do so. We have never tossed boxes and if someone did in a prior life they left the company to learn how to fly and are tainted.

I won't argue that ...

Except the point that we have never tossed boxes. You haven't flown with me and my landings ...

I was a supervisor for UPS on the ground side for four years and now fly the MD. I can tell you that the ground side is a lot more stressfull. I used to chew an entire tin of snuff in one shift!

You are tainted by your exposure to airplanes

I know very well about the company's "once you leave, don't ever come back" mentality. I'm not sure if they automatically exclude those who left the Teamster ranks to bust ass and earn their ratings, then seek re employment driving airplanes.
