I would vote YES! Let the company and stock holders count their profits then...

I was there when it happened, you don't want this kind of thing to happen UNLESS you have it all on your side of the table ..................... easy to say the words, much harder to live by it. We don't have what it takes to conduct a successful strike largely due to our leadership philosophies and the kind of independent contractors that work here and self centered, I repeat, self centered ......................... individuals amongst us.

How do you get 7-10 below those numbers when the line values had already started decreasing from "normal" by then?! I'd say AT LEAST 10-16 below normal times!

BTW, nice edit to 11, but you're still off!
Huh to your Huh? I'm not sure when PC used the F word but 4a2b was invoked on Dec 31, 08 - that'd be 12 months after 07 and the F word was well before that. I think you have your dates messed up a bit.

Nope, PC first used the F word a year earlier, late Dec '07/early Jan '08, which makes my premise correct! 4a2b was invoked a year after PC first used the F word, which was a prelude to all the failed excess bids last year!

How overmanned are we if the company throttles back the sodomizer to the same levels used in the early 2000's? Just a thought.

Think about it. Add an extra 1-2 legs a day for everyone in the system, subtract layovers to the minimum possible, and suddenly we have extra people.

The sodomizer is evil. And it will get worse, month by month, as the parameters are tightened with the goal of squeezing more $ out of flight operations. The efficiencies look good to the company, but guys are drooling on themselves out there.

The real question is $$ vs. Safety. Which is more important here?

I'll let someone else answer that one...
