Default FDX-Decision Time

2 weeks until the MEC officer elections. Do you know who your block rep supports? Have you emailed, called, talked with your block rep with your preferences? Have you demanded that they, as your elected representative, support the majority block opinion and make their choice publicly known?

Chairman: DM or SS?
Vice-Chairman: TH, TM, WR, or DS?
Sec-Treas: DC, JK, SM?

The vast majority of the crewforce thinks the choices are clear. Does your block rep? There should be a minimum of 4600 communications sent to the block reps in the next 10 days. Don't let backroom deals buy this election.

And for those lurkers out there who don't know who the vast majority is supporting, I'll help them out:
Chairman: SS
Vice chairman: TM
Sec-Treas: DC

The excrement has hit the circular wind machine and it's time for smart, effective leadership. We can't be satisfied with the 'experienced status quo'.

If that is the case Enos, then why are we only picking guys from MEM and not any of the other bases? Its time to not only get new leadership but maybe someone who has never been in the MEC before!

As for me, anyone but DM!

In case you fellas hadn't noticed, and before you start beating that "Reps from other domociles drum", let me point out that the sudden glut of new candidates relatively late in the campaign smells of an attempt to "dilute the vote", giving the incumbents a better chance of garnering enough votes to win. If the split is 1 vote either way, another domocile voting for it's candidate could well tip the scale if it is as tight as it seems. Carefully consider what you do here.

You nailed it Florida Captain. "If it smells like an attempt to dilute the vote, looks like an attempt to dilute the vote, it probably is an attempt to dilute the vote".

I'm thinking to myself... I say "self... how diluted would it have to be to get an incumbent elected..."

I'm thinking that would have to be some pretty runny sh** to vote for the same performance we've had in the past.

But I'm a pretty deep thinker...
