OK, I may be stating the obvious. But since the 727 F/E seat doesn't have an excess, is the goal of this to put the 122 being excessed off of the 757 to the back of the 727?

Not those particular people since they (757 F/O) can go where their seniority allows. Its some other 122 other guys and gals.... I think.

But, overall goal, yes.

End result = take 122 off the 757 F/O, then bump/flush everyone down to "where their seniority can hold"

aka - most junior guys end up on the 727 panel (only non-captain crew position WITHOUT an excess)

(oh yeah......also HKG.....)

Probably fair to expect that those of us mid-seniority W/B folks who didn't really move last go around will lose some spots as well. Now that the floodgates have been opened for the 727 Capt's & F/O's, I would imagine that we'll see alot of these very senior folks make their move to W/B seats in fear of not geting the chance to do it later on.

I think the messed up, at least in theory. Since none of the CA positions, except 727, are in excess in this one, what if the 70 or so 727 CA who can hold WB CA decide to bid WB Ca this time around? Wouldn't that make the WB CA seats overmanned again and require another bid?
