I still don't get this. There are 36 vacancies on bid 09-01, that is yet to close. If you bid to relieve and go to HKG, you could very well end up "going to HKG" since the company probably posted fat on 09-01 in an effort to prevent guys from playing the POP game.....maybe I am not getting it though. Maybe the company, looking and monitoring standing bids, knows that 09-01 is going to be unfilled in both seats. Then those that play the POP game end up moving to HKG and in a round-a-bout way filling 09-01's vacant positions!?

On a side note, what IF you are awarded, then REFUSE to sign the letter. Are you disciplined? In vips, you have to say you WILL sign. If you change your mind, what seat do you go back to??

He's talking about HKG CA, you're talking HKG F/O.

There were/are 20 CA vacancies on 09-01 and there were 20 takers on 09-02.

You think you could explain? If I am understanding you correctly, any pilot who bids, and holds HKG CAPT on 09-01 WILL NOT go to HKG since the 20 vacancies were filled via 09-02. They will all get POP. Is that what you are saying?

Are you talking about the people who were hired directly to ANC or the 200 odd that were hired after them? When does one stop being a "n-word"? I'm not Navy, got lots of friends who were, but I've always thought that was a very condescending term. No slam intended.
