So...some of the excessed 122 + F/O's will be heading to HKG...some will be denied an FDA slot (can't create an excess). Is this the same situation as the Capt’s were in before? What did the LOA's, that magically showed up and got signed, actually do?...how does this "virtual" training letter work?
...that's the only way someone seeking a HKG FO slot would be denied.

Unless you're looking at a diffferent FCIF, there isn't a -1 by WB CA spots. But like Sluggo said, only 1 person can move out of the 727 CA spot unless others move into it.

That fact is interesting/surprising...and without any "-1"s those seats can theoretically grow, if anyone senior to the most junior person in that seat wants to bid it.
As another poster has pointed out, perhaps the company is assuming the vast, vast majority of those ultra senior guys that could take advantage of this won't.

A quick glance tells me that only the top two or three 75 FOs can hold WB or 75 CA and the top 15 should be able to hold 72 CA.
But, they could've held those seats on previous bids. I expect most of that group of 75 pilots to stay put.
It'll be the lower portion that tries to go to the 72 FO seat. Everything else will depend on the 50-60 72 FOs that can hold 72 CA. If they upgrade, it will free up some senior 72 CAs to move.
