Downbid Training @ FedEx
Looks like FR8Hauler nailed it: His post from a couple of weeks ago:
"You will be given minimal training if you are going from left seat to right seat of the same aircraft. Mark my words 1-2 weeks tops. I highly recommend you broaden your horizons and learn another aircraft in another domicile."
Today's FCIF confirms this as the case. Nice to know the day before the bid closes!

As far as the 75 right seat.... as many as they can put on a page.... Then they will excess shortly... along with the right seat of the 27. I see no more than 100 total.. and they already have about 30 qualified on the 757.

Bid what you want to fly.
It's that simple. If you are bidding to hold on to WB or Capt pay (wide body or narrow body) for a few extra weeks, than you need to start living less expensively.
I know that isn't a good answer, but it's the situation many of us face. Good luck to all. I hope no one is furloughed, even if that means a lower BLG for a while.

If at the end of this process we end up with an EXTRA 150-250 people in the back of the 27 than are needed to fly the schedule at "normal" BLGs; I would bet that those (we) S/Os would gladly work the reduced blgs even down to 48/60. 48/60 is better than 0/0.(furlough)
Now.. don't get me wrong. I am not the type of person that will go along with the company philosophy just because they are throwing a few crumbs. But I am saying it makes it easier to do since they split up the lines by crew position.
