Does this mean yet another delay?
FCIF 09-0126 (Admin)

Given the system issues we encountered with the first two practice bids, we will delay the final closing of Posting 09-02 until Thursday, March 19th at 1500z. The posting scheduled for today will be practice bid #3 and will be published later today.

They must have just deleted it tonight, 'cause I just copied/saved it a few hours ago. It probably just expired since it's a moo point anyway.

That is what normal people would do but we are talking about pilots.

I mostly agree with the exception being that I don't see mass retirements occurring until just before the next contract goes up for vote and by that time, guys will be hitting 65 anyway.

It just keeps getting better. Going from 5 years on the panel to 5 years on the street. Thanks DW.

Now.. don't get me wrong. I am not the type of person that will go along with the company philosophy just because they are throwing a few crumbs. But I am saying it makes it easier to do since they split up the lines by crew position.

I think JP is right ---- though after hearing "O" speak last night, I think the flush will be a bit smaller (100-125) and the lines scheduled to around 58-60 vs the 48 allowed under 4A2B --- "O" made a comment that the company thought 48 was too low and would cause an "economic hardship".

For those flushed they will be dropping about 16% in hourly pay rate (@ year 4 narrowbody FO & SO pay rates) ---- plus another 15~29% in hours depending on how low the lines actually go.

Not good ---- but better than $0 x 0 for the bottom 300.
