FDX - TUS neighborhoods
Just a quick question as to areas in Tucson that might be good or not so good. Looking for an easy commute (car) to DM or Tucson Int. Any areas to avoid? Or recommend? Thanks ahead of time for the inputs.

Tucson
Its been a while but, just about anything N thru NE of DM up to the foothills will have some nice areas. The big growth area was the far NW. Newer homes, but had some "other" problems and will also result in a longer drive. I used to live NE near the Tanque Verde wash and loved it. Hope to go back eventually.

The NE side gets my vote. We have a townhouse in the Tanque Verde area and just gutted and redid it in preps for the kids going away to college. We;d like to commute several months a year also. I love the unstructured development of 30 years ago. You commune with the desert, and that is why we fell in love with Tucson. I also like hiking the Rincons at the end of Speedway, going to Sabino Canyon, and using the DMAFB facilities. Good Luck!
