Default FDX - Practice Bid #3 is out....

Well does it look right to you? It is about as accurate as its going to get so you should have a pretty good idea were you stand now.

I can say this is the first one they messed up for me. I put my final bid in yesterday, and I didn't get what I asked for. So I am actually glad it wasn't the real deal, because I would have to hastle with the union and all of that....

Same here -- I think this bid is messed up too. Changed my bid early this morning and I didn't move from my current seat, even though I should have. Something is amiss here and I hope they get it fixed prior to Thursday or I think the Union is going to very busy on Friday (are they in the office on Fridays?)/

Didn't the FCIF this weekend say they would use the standing bid data as of the original practice #2? Or something to that effect? So you may have changed your bid but it wasn't used for the #3 practice bid, but rather a re-do of the #2 bid? Well, now I'm confused, but that doesn't really take a lot.

I'm confused too. I understand that when they did a "redo" for practice bid #2 (was that Friday? I can't find the FCIF), they used the standing bids as they were on 11 Mar (Wednesday). But since today was supposed to be the "real" bid, I figured they would use the standing bids as they were today (at 1500 MEM time). If that's the case then this bid is dorked up too, because I should have moved but didn't. I now have NO faith in this bidding process what-so-ever. I guess I will be removing all of my standing bids.

That scenario only applied to the 2nd practice bid, NOT the final bid. You should have been able to change your standing bid up until 1500Z this morning and it would have counted.

This doesn't sound good at all...just another reason the company will have to cancel the excess all together...."due to computer programming errors, the excess bid will be canceled until IT department can figure out how to process the standing bids correctly!" ...my crystal ball is working pretty good

According to the FCIF, it sounds like practice bid #3 would be from Monday the 16th.

This is the assumption I was under. And with that, I did not get what I have on my bid(which I printed out). Anyway, I guess I'll be calling the union and my acp to sort this one out.

You know what happens when you assume!

If it helps anyone, I have been told that the company used the data as of 1345Z 16MAR not 1500z. Why this happened I have no idea.

They told me the same thing, ACP and the union. In both cases, my bid should have went to relieve, but I stayed in my current seat. So they are "looking in to it"
