Someone is stretching the truth with you, because Vips shows that I put my bid in at 1355Z on 16 Mar, and that is what my seat move was based on. There is no way that they would have sent me to the seat that they are showing, if I had not have had a bid in.

What are they "looking into", the fact that some people didn't get what they were supposed to or they didn't close the bid at the appropriate time? A bunch of people could have been screwed if they decided to change their bid at the last minute.

No, I got an answer from both parties. There are still glitches in the computer program. The company is going through each pilot, by seniority, and checking what the program awarded, and what that pilot bid.

In my case, I was awarded a seat, but should have gotten another based on what little seniority I have.

Default A glitch?

How did this company get so far, using computers and programs that are so riddled with glitches? I just find it interesting that a company can move, and track, a package, from anywhere, to Bumblefork, Egypt, and locate a plane, in motion, anywhere in the world, can't seem to keep track of a pilot's current bid status, and publish a practice bid accurately. Who is in charge here? Is it Moe, Larry, or Curly?

I agree. Just look at the archaic dells in AOC tied to 4 or 5 operable printers. It doesn't stop there. How about our "awesome" webmail? What a joke!

They're using those old Zap Mail engineers and programmers to work on it!

Same reason VIPs server gets overloaded during open time or when pilots show up and are all launching within 2 hours. Forget the bots, VIPs and the GRID are about 20 years behind the times. Can you count how many times you have seen the message "VIPS Server Busy". I can't.

The computers and systems we the pilots use don't work for the same reason the left side bathroom in the AOC has a nice big fat lock on it. Cost savings! Why would the company spend anymore more money than necessary on our computer systems when they work just barely enough to keep things moving along.

As for the bathroom being locked... That was my favorite crapper in the whole system.
