FDX--Final--Er--Practice #3
#11
Call me naive (two dots above the "i"), but I hoped to have some resolution this morning, one way or the other. I KNOW I was alone in the matter-- I'll now fully enjoy Spring Break and start flipping my light switch--at least I know that it's not going to be: 1) full of errors, 2) delayed because of unexplainable computer challenges, 3) partially canceled (excluding HKG takers) if it doesn't play out right, or 4) completed at close of business on Friday afternoon. Oh wait--maybe it will--or maybe it won't! Cheers!

Whose amateur antics are we talking about? I've been reading these blogs where the plans to bid something false to make the training costs appear outragous were publicly posted for management to read. I would call the pilot-bloggers amateur; management I would rate as "very savvy."
BTW...how many messed up bids is this now? I've lost count. Seriously.

Some others have said this before, but I'll repeat it...if we did our jobs like management is doing theirs, we'd be fired!
This from a top Fortune 100 company, over and over.
I can say that as a bottom feeder, I was ready to get over the seat move...but I have to know before I can let it go!

I think it is 6, but my head is spinning. Serious case of vertigo and concentrating on the attitude gyro right now.

The company probably decided not to publish the practice bid #3 results, because if the guys bidding HKG Capt on practice bid #2 were serious about it and show up on #3, then there will be a shiotload of junior bidders bidding it before Thursday...
Once again, they have out smarted themselves.

My point exactly. I brought up the issue that telegraphing a "bidding strategy" on a blog accessible by management is not exactly a good move. All they have to do to find the real intent is cancel the final, call it "practice #3" and get a more realistic picture of what we were going to do.
But to your response I'll go ahead and admit it; those of us who fly the Boeing to FNT are not worthy to lick the boots of you grand widebody supreme beings. I know that really makes you something superb. Congrats.
