Well, we've been hearing "we're negotiating rates for post DHL work. Regular contract rates will apply to any DHL work remaining." from ABX 1224 both on message boards, and in conversations with your leadership. Based on your sentiments, it would seem that may be about to change. That would be ironic, wouldn't you agree?

Like I said I don't it doesn't really matter what you and I think. The corporate offices are going to do what they want.

Off topic: Personally I hope the 1224 E-board has grown a pair over the Amerijet deal.

I am ready and willing to strike Monday night!

The union itself can't give anything, the membership could vote to do so, but even the leadership says they are not discussing any concessions, period. But then again when it comes to "leadership", Barry for example said absolutely no earmarks, so who knows.

As for UPS, they wear their "heart" on their sleeve...they are always looking to gouge, rape, pillage, burn at every possible opportunity...they don't have a Plan B since A works so well for them.

Speaking of plans, how's your motivational speaking tour going since you've got so much time on your hands? You must have refined it to an art form by now. Should your co-workers keep an eye out for you crossing lines soon?

1224 has not been negotiating any lower rates for post DHL work and the message boards do not say we are! And who is "we" the Astar group in charge of monitoring 1224 message board then asking stupid questions on this message board? Why not just call the hall? 1224 has been working to negotiate the same pay with changes in work rules ie; freezing the pension plan, no change of destination pay etc, etc. It has been a tough job but the company has realized at our current pay we can compete with the 4 engine 3 man aircraft compaines we are bidding against.

Don't know where you're getting your info from Bobby, but I'm flying. In fact I just got back from a trip.

And no need to worry about me "crossing lines" as you put it.

Re read my post dog. I did say we have been talking to your leadership. You can couch it in whatever feel good language you want to, but it sounds/smells give backy to me. Whatever.

Oh...

One of the more senior making yours on the back of the junior guy.

But at least I'm sure you've had some of your inspirational remarks to them on their way out the door.

Snoopy, Hooterville isn't that big of a "Burg". Everybody knows what everybody is doing. I hope that yor e-board is talking with our MEC. It's too late in the game for personality conflicts.
