Ok, I was just wondering...

Time to help Arnold with the budget problem and spend $$$ in California!

Interesting......................so if we furlough a bunch of guys and put them on the streets in a decimated economy.....you'll consider doing the right thing when you turn 60 and retire? You, my friend, have either been smoking your underwear or have it wedgied up your a$$ so far it has cut off the oxygen to your brain. Go polish your boat, cut the grass at your lake house and keep in mind..........................it is, in fact, ALL ABOUT YOU.

I am astounded by your arrogance, selfishness, and utter disregard for your FedEx comrades. I don't think I've ever heard of one so out of touch and unable to see the error of his ways. Bet if you'd been in the Hanoi Hilton on a "layover" you'd have taken the early out. Enjoy your next Jane Fonda film and "take care of yourself"!

Take heart Money Man... there are a few capitalists out there!

Philosophically speaking... Why would anyone in their right mind think they could take concessions and buy someone else's job? Why would anyone want to?

The whole concept is preposterous! If the company is overstaffed, then furlough. If the company's labor force equals the generated business then game on!

I have budgeted for this situation. You're being rudely presumptuous. However, I am still trying to financially recover from the last time I was furloughed.

On the contrary, if YOU had budgeted properly you wouldn't be concerned about obtaining your high-5. Clearly you haven't. Someone with a modicum of financial responsibility would be able to retire based off their current earnings even with the reduced BLGs. You're a WB captain earning a massive paycheck so being able to retire should be a no-brainer. If you have to maximize your high-5 in order to retire then you clearly don't have a clue what you're doing.

Your arrogance is laughable. Actually, I kind of feel sorry for you. Every time you open your mouth you stick your foot in it. Who recommended this clown anyway? It's one-ways like you who make our union weak. We have a lot of good people here. Many of whom are willing to, and have, endured financial sacrifice to help others from financial catastrophe. From all of us junior folks, "Thank you." But there are just too many greedy and selfish personal contractors here like you who continue to make the lives of others difficult. For you to get on this message board and seek sympathy because you can't max out your high-5, (while making more than most people here do), then turn around and whine about how junior folks are merely obstacles in your way and should be sacrificed so you won't be inconvenienced any longer demonstrates just how clueless and selfish you really are. Also, get your facts straight before you open your mouth. I hope you fly planes better than you argue. And yes, you should stop responding to this thread, you're embarrassing yourself.

Busted!! That would be me! This thread alone has killed more than just a few minutes of my time at the Hollow Point, and been a source of much mirth!
