There are also some folks that are listed as switching seats actually aren't. I know of a few that were bumped off the original 777 bid back to their current seat. Either way, still a lot of training. Mine included.

Still should be eligible for POP under the FEPP settlement though. Right around 2013 probably...
You didn't get awarded because folks actually being excessed (different aircraft and/or seat) had to move. You will get POP because you bid to relieve but weren't allowed to go. Those being actually bumped off have to move somewhere. The most senior actually being bumped off the bottom of any aircraft will move to HK. Those being excessed off any seat, sr enough to hold HK CA but not sr enough to get one of the 20 slots will move to the next seat they can hold but will also get POP. So even if you are sr in a seat bidding HK to relieve you might not go if greater than 20 people being excessed bid HK CA and are sr to the jr guy.

See how a lot of folks can qualify for POP and be no where near able to go to HK? If for argument sake 100 guys are excessed off the MD11 FO seat and all 100 are sr enough to hold HK CA. The top 20 get trained the next 80 move to say ANC FO but they get POP. Additionally, every MD11 FO who bid to relieve excess for HK CA will also get POP even though they never moved. Continue the slide so say now the 80 at ANC push 80 off the bottom, if they can hold HK they get POP but move back to the 727. Plus, every FO in ANC who bid to relieve but didn't get moved gets POP. And so on, and so on....

See how fun this can be.

Default Incorrect award...

Anybody have this problem? I'm currently ANC based but decided I didn't want to make the commute if my seniority dropped below 80%. My standing bid looks like this:
ANC F/O 80%
777 F/O 100%
HKG Capt 100%
ANC F/O 90%
MEM F/O 100%
ANC F/O 100%
LAX F/O 100%
MEM Bus F/O 100%
MEM 757 F/O 100%

In the 2nd round practice percentiles, I would be upper part of the 60% group so I figure that satisfies my 1st choice. Somehow they awarded me Memphis??? **** Any ideas?

Double check your standing to make sure you have what you think. Otherwise, call the union. Remember everything was wrong last year with several bid tries also.

Unfortunately this is where being a junior WB CA about to be bumped is a disadvantage. If I put HKG CA to save my WB pay, I'll actually end up going, unless the final bid changes drastically. Meanwhile a bunch of guys 500 numbers or more below me will get WB CA POP.

NOTE: New FCIF out saying basically to disregard Practice Bid #2 due to "problems". New Practice 2 to be out on Friday...
