Nice Job LAX FO's.....
The LAX March Bidpack had 2 disputed pairings....Trip 2/12th and 84/15th. Unfortunately both trips were filled early by captains but the FO seats were never picked up (as a disputed pairing should be).
Trip 2 ended up being split up in half between an ANC FO and a LAX FO with a DH out and a DH in to TPE for each FO so the cost of the pairing went up dramatically for the company. Trip 84 is still in Open Time.
Nice job LAX FO's on setting a good example on NOT picking up a disputed pairing.

The second DISPUTED PAIRING in the Mar 09 LAX bidpack, trip #84 15Mar09 was dropped by the captain and never picked up by a FO
Instead, the trip was pulled out of LAX and put into MEM. Not sure how the captain got the trip, 3202 15Mar, but the FO was assigned the trip on reserve, 3154 13Mar.
Again, nice job LAX crews. Hopefully the company will make the pairings a little more safe in the future

Not sure how the captain got the trip-- might have traded into it. He was supposed to go somewhere else on March 14 originally. I remember his name when I was looking up jumpseats. Now he has just a wee bit o' extra credit hours for March.

Nice to see this captain "sharing the pain"
