FDX - April BLGs
(Remember a 5-week bid month used to have a 85 BLG)
As far as the 727 goes:
F/O and S/O average BLG = 83:00 (sucks but not as bad as last month)
CA average BLG = 72:34 (That really sucks. 14+% cut off 85 min BLG)
How does the rest of the fleet look?

Let me see now. Before all the furlough mitigation talks I was averaging about 72 hours RLG for a 4 week month and about 91 hours for a 5 week month. Now as a Bus Captain I will make 71 hours RLG, 15 or 16 hours less than a 10 Captain sitting on his arse waiting to go to training in Nov. But who's not taking one for the team?

With all of the "we need to save money" crap that is going around, I am truely suprised that the DC-10 bid pack isn't at min blg ie 48/68, until these guys go to training. No airplanes, no lines???

What I don't understand is that there is 1 over 65 guy going to 727 s/o training per month. The last one starts 31 Oct. How many of these guys are actually going to go to training. You'd think the company would force their hand and lump them in one or two training cycles right away.

If there were lines/trips for the DC10 they could be at min BLG or whatever the company chooses using their interpretation of 4.a.2.b. Without lines or a bid pack they all get paid fleet wide average BLG until trained in another a/c (one of the few dimly shinning stars of our contract).
