Again with the assumptions. A Flex is only 'home every night' if they live in Mempho. Since this seems to be the overriding concern of the majority of you out there, I guess you should check your target before you drop that bomb.
What injustice? How many days on average have you actually been required to show up to work in the last 6 months? Talk about crying a river...

As for wrong targets, I like flexes, have quite a few friends who have been or currently are flexes, and have worked in training. Don't try to blow sunshine up my A^^ about how overworked you are. I know that I have had sims rescheduled because someone (and not the pilot who bid a late morning sim, based on seniority) had a golf tee time, and had to be out of the box by 11 so he could get to the course (or shooting range on another recurrent.) Sounds like a tough day to me. And last, but not least, you are not doing it for RLG, but for Pay-only BLG+override+ possibly POPA.

I copied my post #14 from this thread because I wanted to emphasize what we should be focussing on. Reserve pilots are still working the same amount of days for less pay. The fact that the Flex instructors are now working fewer days for less pay is the right thing to do. We need the same thing for the reserve pilot. My availability for 12 hours per work day to go fly a full duty day is considered work. I don't want Flex instructors or reserve pilots to work 19/15 days for less than 85/68 hours of pay. The reserve pilots need a similar deal. We don't need to crap on the flex deal.
We are all on the same team and like I said: "a rising tide floats all boats"....I also say "Good for you!" and I expect that since we are on the same team, that you would be enthusiastic that we get the R-day value restored.
If we do better, it also means you do too!
