I like this attitude. You hear a lot more posts like this over on the UPS furlough thread. I wonder why we don't see more of these on the FedEx side
I think it's pretty simple. There has been a lot of mistrust generated here by the role DW played in the Age 65 thing among other issues perceived as junior/senior like the FDA, ANC passover, etc. Add in the vocal minority of senior pilots who have showed up at meetings and have been heard around AOC advocating for a furlough to get their BLG's back, which isn't an issue at UPS because they don't have 4.a.2.b, and you get this uneasy silence. I don't get the sense the FedEx junior people are in favor of tearing up the contract to save jobs, but they aren't rushing to say that to people they may feel would take that initiative and run the wrong way with it. There are a lot of ex-furloughees at both carriers who watch this stuff quite warily. Look at how many are reading things into the NC message that personally I don't think it says.
