Call your Block Rep
I talked to my Block Rep yesterday and counting my call and the emails he has gotten. A grand total ......(wait on it........drumroll please).......of six people have contacted him concerning preferences for the MEC Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Secretary.
Let them know what you want. If only Six people contact them, they will assume no one cares........

Not trying to be a smart-arse...But, how does the average Joe know what he wants? I haven't heard a word from any of these guys regarding their views, ideas or concepts on anything. Other than several messages from the R&I Chair telling us they're watching FDX.

A great thing to do would be call those guys directly. They are in VIPS.
Catch them in the hub when you can. Everyone running has done a bunch of things with the union in the past, so asking his fellow union volunteers might also give some insights.
The reason they aren't campaigning actively like block reps do is the voters are the MEC reps IAW the ALPA policy manual. However, your reps are interested in your opinions and (I think most if not all of us) are interested in your input.
I asked for input in a recent block letter and I've gotten about 30-40 emails, text messages, and phone calls.

I couldn't agree with LJ more. Although the MEC elects the officers, you should let them know your views. I expect to hear from my block/LEC. I'd recommend you contact all the reps with your views on who you want as officers.

Ok Micro, you asked for it since you are in my LEC. I would like you to vote for SS, TM, and that other guy running for Sec/Treas. I'll send you something official later this month.
