I'm not certain but I'd bet you've got the wrong DW? My hunch is it's Capt. Dave Wells ... long time union Safety Comittee Chairman. He resigned recently (and I "think" maybe he's nearing retirement age?). He was due some sort of recognition from the union. Personally, I'm glad to see him get some.

Dave Wells....good guy...period. BTW, anybody want to know what John Prater, our CINC ALPA looks like? In the latest Air Line Pilot mag his picture is on the cover, page 3, page 5, 6, 7, 13, 15, 17, 18, and 38. It's good to be king.

Dave Wells. Great guy but he can't ski. Took him all the way to the top of the mountain in Almatty (fairly advanced slope black diamond) before he fessed up to us that it was his first time skiing! Took all day for him to walk back down. What a great guy! Miss you Dave.
