Not saying that's what this meeting is about. Just adding some color comentary to the doom and gloom.

If that happened at UPS, do you think the young guys would grieve it? It seems to me that the absolute smartest thing for UPS to do would be to furlough the over 60 guys out of seniority order. The union would be powerless to stop it because the young guys would support the company's decision.

Space,

You must be pretty bored. I mean, trying to stir up a whole lotta nothing with your flaimbait. First, personal mockery, then the age thing. Nice. Looking forward to your next post.

Flame away ...
My HKG turn just got cancelled. That's 6 trips that been chopped from my line since December.

Still, I don't think a furlough will happen.

I predict us hiring by September. Anyone has some towels for the poolies???

The Age thing was OBVIOUSLY a joke that I was making about the post about furloughing out of senioirty. Easy dude.

as far as that other dude's post about going to be a CFI when UPS furloughs, I was not making a joke about that being a very stupid idea.

You should relax and have a cup of coffee dude.

YOUNG or OLD ... the union would be powerless to stop it.

This old junior guy would grieve it if someone junior to me was not furloughed before me. But there's not many of them.

And I thought my post was flamebait ...

Just curious ... cancelled outright, or downgraded to smaller equipment ?

I have had approx 6 as well. Says CXL on my line, but actually operated by an MD or 767 ... FWIW.
