Default FedEx shipping error and parkas

This one I had to share with everyone.

I recently joined parka club, but they had sent me a smaller jacket. So I had it shipped back as soon as I got it. The total bill was around 7 bucks with a declared value of $185.

Now here's where it gets entertaining. I called customer service, nice folks by the way, and they said that the declared value was around $18,000!

This made my total bill around $125. The issue was resolved and a refund is on the way.

The jacket should have been fur lined if it was actually worth 18k.

I ordered the parka a month ago, they told me it would arrive in May. May? I'm not sure I'll need a winter parka in May (but at least I'll look good in the summer)? It arrived last week (after 3 weeks).

Strange system? The coat is very warm, glad I ordered it

Well now I have another issue. VF has sent me two parkas now, gonna have fun with the folks in the expense dept.

Anyone need a XXL? If so I'll check with the expense folks and see if that's kosher.

Senior? Hey, that's a good one. I almost fell out of my chair laughing so hard.

Nope, I am afraid I'm living on borrowed time in Airbus land. That is if they have an excess bid. I won't have to learn 6-5 BIPPS again, at least i don't think I'll have too!

***Sent you a PM***

So, VF makes 18K in lost items from FDX. That is a good gig if you can get it.
