Is it possible that new experiences have tested never before utilized sections of the contract and those sections have been identified as lacking? How much more do you think we should lower my BLG to allow you to keep flying 90 hours a month? Socialism YGTBSM. Cronyism is the ism you are going for.
One, I have never averaged 90 hours per month. By the way our MEC was guaranteed 92 hours per month. I use the rules of the contract to improve my quality of life, maximize may time at home, and maximize my vacation. Cronyism involves intimate friends, what I have been discussing is SENIORITY, big difference. I have used these provisions of the contract to improve my quality of life since approximately 60% seniority.
What I see, is that some people have bid the highest paying equipment at 100% and have found themselves at the bottom of the seniority list. Now they want to improve their position, in pay and quality of life, by taking away the seniority benifits afforded those who know the contract and have bid accordingly.
I'm not the one whining or crying foul. I read the contract. I voted no on the last contract, due to its inequities. But I make due with what's approved, whats ratified. What many on here are asking for is a "do over", in the name of fairness. Please, go sign up for some recreational sports league that lets every person participate equally and doesn't keep score. Hate to see anyone get their feelings hurt.

You brought up socialism, which was completely inappropriate. You may not be the "crony" but the contract was written by cronies to advantage their fellow cronies. I guess you just got lucky.
If we are getting into personal history I did not bid anything above 50%, but that is just me. Since you seem to have been offended by the personal nature of the question lets generalize it. How many hours should Pilot "A" give up in order for Pilot "B" to continue to fly at BLG + 40? Currently the reserve guys are giving up 7-9.
