I have it on good authority that we went out of SFS with a bang. Literally. Apparently, the last Airbus flight scheduled out of there got hit by the loader on the #1 engine, will be down for a few days. Happened while everyone was there taking pictures, so I'm sure it will all show up online at some point. I'm thinking maybe one of those 800 people was a mechanic who wanted to hold onto his job just a little bit longer?

If so, it seems that if your VTO guys would bone up and not request any of them for one month, the company would probably be forced to fix the transpo problem. Good luck guys.

Not quite. The VTO lines can be built with R-Days to cover these trips, no volunteers required. As for the transportation issues, we had the perfect forum to address that issue, it was called the LOA. Remember it was "our union" that didn't think this issue needed to be properly addressed, prior to adopting the LOA. I know, that's a "dead horse", but the 32%'s foresaw these types of problems. Some even wrote about them specifically, on this forum. But they were just being hysterical. Now some of these problems are rearing their ugly head. All you altruistic and uneffected voters pat yourselves on the back, maybe they can use part of that generously alloted sum of $2,700. LOL. Also, stick to the same mantra, they didn't have to bid it, yeah that will help. Hopefully this problem will get resolved. In the mean time, our pilots will be losing money and the union is expending time and energy on an issue they should have dealt with long ago. As for the company, they are doing exactly what we have allowed them to do, shame on them.
