Gee, JJ, while I agree with almost everything in your post (and really like your new Avatar,) your memory must be going. I just double checked to be sure and the DC10 has a "Loss of all engines Checklist." and the MD11 has an "All Engine Flameout Checklist." We've already heard from the French Jet crowd. Looks like you're wrong on this one.

Hmmm, never aced your Phase One test on the Mad Dog, did you?!

ALL ENGINE FLAMEOUT
1. “Ignition Override On”
2. “ADG Deploy”

I guess you'll come back and say you were still correct, since the checklist is called "All Engine Flameout", right?

It's been 2 and a half years since my Mad Dog days, and a lot of stuff has flowed under the bridge, so to speak. Sorry guys for forgetting my Phase I's. I'm so ashamed. Perhaps all the "all engine out" or "loss of all engines" checklists should start with: 1. Bend down between your legs and kiss your A$$ goodbye, or look for the Hudson Bay.

2 1/2 yrs hasn't stopped you from being "correct" on almost every other topic here on APC!

Looks like phase 1's aren't the only alz casualty... Near as I can tell, none of our usual routes go anywhere near gliding distance of the "Hudson Bay."

Yeah, I know. I was making fun of the press who initially said that the jet had put down in the Hudson Bay. But thanks for pointing that out to me.
