We can argue forever about what is wrong and right... The Union represents us and needs to be negotiating for all of us. If one individual gets furloughed, then the Union has failed us all. Action needs to be taken now. We can grieve all the issues we want, but getting a ruling in two years does not help the individuals who already are on the street.

I am going to fly my line. I may try to swap with open time or perhaps drop/pickup an equal amount of CH (I have a MOUNTAIN of makeup bank), but it'll be as even a swap as I can get. I feel that flying extra right now has the potential of putting guys on the street in the not too distant future. Maybe I'm the 1 guy in 10 that says this is the right thing to do, and you may think me an idiot, but I'm right and I know it (and deep down I think you know it too). When there are guys on the street and you go beating your chest that NOW you won't fly extra, it'll be too late. You want to go along with what you perceive as "the crowd", be my guest.
