Last I checked, "You're not a real airline pilot until you've been furloughed."

Guess that would explain 'the Boy. Though he did look damn good in front of that sand dune on his ATV.

What was that, like a Yamaha Banshee?

i hope i never become a real airline pilot....i plan on just getting by till i don't want to do it anymore....no banshee...450r...although the banshee is great in the sand...later boys!

Since the comment on retiring all (14) DC-10s is not true (unless they are defining the conversion to a MD-10 as a retirement), the other statements of 'fact' become suspect. We know the plan of the 57s eventually replacing the 27 flying - that's nothing new.
