The new IPA forum is a POS, what an embarassment! It looks like something somebody put together working out of their garage! I flew with JS not so long ago and he is working on his new site, let's hope he gets it out there soon!

Haven't been working on it lately with other business to tend to, plus enjoying some time with my kids.

The new Vanilla-brand forum is much improved over the "old" Bar and Grill, but I agree that it looks poor, and that the pilots of UPS would be much better served by a vBulletin-brand forum (yes, the owners of vBulletin also bought APC last year-- full disclosure

The IPA tech committee accepted my input on the forum categories, and implemented most of what I suggested. Others on the conference call added some great category ideas, and the result is the topic categories you now see at the New IPA Forum.

Our main disagreement is in the software to use, with the committee wanting Vanilla, and I wanting vBulletin (the bulletin board software run at the two largest pilot forums in the world: here and www.pprune.org).

I'll roll something out by April...
