You misunderstood my reply; I was simply poking fun at bifff15 for his slip here:

"Any reason that can be published? "

Sort of like you did a few posts earlier...

"I think I just did "...

Have no opinion on brownpilots website as I know nothing about it...

I should have been more specific.

Is there any reason why the IPA would ask him to chill that can be published?

Better English this time senorita?

Yeah....the IPA wants him to chill because he's making them look incompetent. Some of the folks on the B&G with connections to the IPA ubercrust got real p i s s y with him when he tried to explain his motivation for the Brownpilots website.

The IPA was supposed to have the new and improved B&G up and running last July, I believe. Guess what...it's still not up, and there is no estimate of when it will be functional.

Knowing JS, he probably already has Brownpilots up and ready to go. I have no doubt that it will be a superior product compared to what we will get from the IPA...if we ever get it. Until then, we are stuck with the B&G; a bulletin board that resembles something from 1985 MS DOS days past.

Go figure this is coming out now. In today's IPNN, there is a link to the new IPA message board. Enjoy.

I wonder if things happened faster IF they thought the “new & improved” B&G website would benefit the over 60 guys/gals?

I say that because I remember how our new hire -400 pilots weren’t getting the extra pay but also the moving package, etc. our MD11 crews were getting. They kept complaining for months and nothing happened. Yet as soon as the new retirement age legislation passed - boom, all of a sudden both MD and 400 crews (now mainly consisting of over 60 pilots) were getting the same benefits...

Maybe it was a coincidence, I don’t know but I and many of my junior friends kept wondering how a seemingly impossible issue could turn into a non-issue so suddenly.

I don't want to start yet another over 60 debate, just bringing up an issue that's been mentioned many times before... At least by the junior pilots...

Looks like this thread helped, huh?
