Only if its your last VAC of the year, and then you can reduce the footprint to reflect your hours avail. I doubt next month is your last VAC of the year?

forced vacation
Is the vacation in 2008 or 2009? If 2009 you could trade with someone or call Debbie and she sometimes can swap it to another date that was not used for awards. Not much you can do for a late Dec 2008. Good idea to call your ACP if you have a unique situation. Good luck.

Slide your vacation as far out of the footprint of the trip(s) in question and then hope for a good makeup trip to come by! Otherwise, enjoy the time off with the family, you may not get the chance later.

Thanks for the input. My vacation (12 days) is the first week of Jan. and the trip is the 15th. Can't slide back into Dec. Circumstances changed since bidding for vac. and actually after the bids closed Fri. for the month of Jan. Oh Well. Thanks again, take care and Merry Christmas.
