Default Stay classy Mr. FedEx pilot

Not a representation of all you guys but still... geez.

Friday November 21st KPDX ~1830

Pdx ground: fedex xxx follow the DHL aircraft to the cargo ramp.

Fedex xxx: we'll follow DHL to cargo, fedex xxx. Those guys still have planes? (in a very cocky and mocking voice)

anonymous pilot 1: hey thats not funny.

anonymous pilot 2: it could happen to you too.

i sincerely appologize for one of our pilot's comments. i can assure you it doesn't represent the majority of us. (the 98% / 2% rule comes to mind) we are very aware of your circumstances and very empathetic.

hopefully things will work out for all of you sooner than later.

STF-
completely uncalled for, and not very empathetic.
Most of us are completely aware that this could happen to anybody,
and I would assume that our pilot group would know better...but alas, you know the rest of the story!!
I sincerely apologize for the crass comments...

Lots of airline industry refugees at FedEx (former Eastern, PanAm, TWA, etc.). I'm surprised

Most here are great people. Some not so.

I only wish the DHL employees the best.

Verify it before you knock on the guy.......

If true, I apologize for his remarks. No class indeed.

Thumbs up Thanks peeps

If that incident happened at PDX then the crew of the DHL A/C was an ABX crew. I'm sure they appreciate the statements of support as we surely do.

Thanks again,
FAJ
