Rumors are that the hotel contract was extended 6 months, and the airport was out for 3 months... why the difference, who knows???

Subic was gonna stay open with a skeleton crew for a couple months after CAN opened up, for the "uh oh, meltdown scenario" just in case...

I think the plan is to close the base at the end of Dec, but keep the hub going using SIBA guys to fill the HKG slots. And when FedEx is totally out of SFS, the Chinese will probably put the screws to us!
