100% in agreement. The problem is that ‘the company’ has been so used to the pilot group going WELL ‘above and beyond’ . . that ‘only’ 100% seems like a ‘job action’ to them.

In the early days we were MORE than GLAD to go well beyond . . because we were building an industry from scratch -AND ‘the Massa’ promised he would ‘take care’ of us . . “Delta + a nickel” and all that other lying crap!

Maybe it is a little easier for newer folks to discern ‘where’ that 100% cut off point is, nowadays? It was always a little tough for me, because we used to unstrap from the Falcon and go back to help sling boxes on most stop-overs.

Only when the opportunity presents itself. Like when I'm sittin' on the dock, hunting, fishing or on the appropriate layover. What's-her-name still raises hell with me when I enjoy one around her.

In fact, the lanai here in PHNL is calling me. Where's my travel humidor?
