No, but there's a Wal Mart and a bakery nearby, a couple of furniture stores, and it's next to a highway. Zzzzzzzz.
Nice hotel, but the location makes Terre Haute look like Saturday night on the Vegas strip. Guys will be getting whiplash from the boredom.
Anchorage does offer other better options, such as the Capt Cook, Millenium, Sheraton, Marriott, etc.
Man does not live by mall alone.

Not long after the Tiger merger, I was flying with a Silver Captain and a Purple First Officer. Walking back from dinner one night we began discussing the differences between the two pilot groups and the Captain summed it up best with the following observation...
"Ask any Purple guy and he can tell you where the best jogging route, movie theater or mall is located. The Silver guys can tell you where to find a beer at 6 a.m., a carton of cigarettes for $10 or a breakfast place with a stripper pole."

Stayed at the Millenium for most of last year, nice place, but the Fancy Moose and Pipers get old really fast. The standard fare of fast food is an easy walk (1-4 blocks) There is a Valero gas station (7-11) right out the backdoor, it has a very wide selection of adult beverages, everything else (regular resturants) is a cab ride away. The Staff was always very nice to our crews.
Circumnavigating Lake Hood is a great place to exercise for aviation nuts that want to exercise. The Millenium gets real crowded in the summer season and overflows during Feb/Mar, since it is Iditarod Race HQ Great place to be during the race, if you are into that sort of stuff.

Because there is a vocal minority out there that when things don't go exactly their way they file a POR to complain.
I have been told by the Hotel Committee Chairman that if you like a place, submit something, otherwise the complainers get their way.

Speaking of stripper poles ... any chance this mall is near the Great Alaskan Bush Company?
