I don't have a cessna, and have only flown a plane for fun.
So sorry to intrude. My husband is a pilot w/o a job.

Hi Dot,

You are entitled to your opinion, so please do not apologize for speaking your mind.

Yes, things are rather tense - and understandably so - but that's no excuse for the response you received.

For the rest of you: There are many of us that have been and will be affected negatively by the recent events, but really now - this is not the time to go at each other's throats. Life is hard enough as it is.....

BTW, welcome to the board, Dot.

The TOS doesnt' allow posts that are political in nature. Please refrain from posting such things.

Okay, first my apologies to the moderator. I do remember that posts political in nature are frowned upon. However, the person responding to Dot could have been a little nicer.

Dot, sometimes these computers truly have minds of their own!

As far as job security, my family's security is gone. As of January 30, 2009, there will be no job. My hubby has been in the aviation industry for over 20 years, and we thought after he got into the freight side of it, we'd be set for life. As a matter of fact, even after 9/11, he was still confident in the freight business. I guess it just goes to show that nothing is safe (sacred) anymore. Life lesson here: Never take anything for granted - especially job security.

Good luck to you and your family, Dot.

"However, the person responding to Dot could have been a little nicer."

You may have a point. If you feel a post is flamebait and violates TOS, please use the red triangle thingy in the lower left corner of your screen to report the post. Make your case as to why it violates TOS and the mods will take a look at it.

This thread is really messed up, so I'm going to close it.
