Thanks!
Thanks for the reminder, I would have forgotten. Glad I looked, although I wasn't changing anything, I learned that if you don't re-enroll, you lose the auto-deductions for health/dependent care. That would mean more money out of my pocket for taxes, something that I certainly don't need to have happen.

Very true. The tax savings for me this year will probably be around $1000. And ours is so easy to use, they issue you a debit card.
If anyone on here isn't doing it, they really should look into it to save a few bucks at tax time.

I have had bad experience with the HCSA. I've used it the last two years but they continually hound you for backup and receipts and they just denied another claim because they claimed that they couldn't read the receipt I faxed them.
I am not using them again. Tax savings are not worth my time.
On the other hand, if you put a small amount in and only use it for easy things like prescriptions or copays you should be okay. They consistently asked for proof from two health professionals I used, a chiropractor and eye doctor for my wife. I think they need to justify their existence.
Another note, if you're continuing to use the HCSA don't get rid of your card. It's good for 3 years. It took 2 months to get a replacement card as they are not user friendly.
Your experience may vary.
