Long-haul cargo question?

Night flying has its pros and cons, like everything else in life, and everyone makes what they can with it.
True, it's harder with kids. Until we had our lovely N, I used to come home after a night flight and just sleep through the day. Now, I'd be grateful if I can squeeze in a nooner.
And you have to remember, that flying to another continent, night can sometimes feel like day and vice versa. The important thing is to plan your rest before the flight, so you can perform your duty safely.
For me, that's part of the job, the fact that I sometimes work at night (most times) and sometimes at days. I actually enjoy the change in routine.

I am not 100% sure but I believe that FedEx operates under the supplemental side but you proabaly have a provision in the contract that states duty/flight limits

We have "provisions" in our contract that were "intended" to provide some protections..................
The scheduling sections of our contract have become more of a guideline than a rule..........in the true system form.........Our Scheduled trips are often completely revised to something that doesn't look like the original bid trip.
We are currently in negotiations attempting to fix this.................and might I add..........negotiations are going very slow.........
