Busboy-
Have you ever tried to get from JFK to La Guardia in just over an hour for the flight? I would eat the difference and not care but I know quite a few who have the same amount of the taxi ride to make that flight. Just a thought because there are always reasons to pay more than 20% but that is my dime.

My query was in reference to the original poster and his over 20% tip, on his "pre-approved" ground transportation. If it needed pre-approval, the cost was over $100, to begin with. At 20%, that would be a $20 tip, minimum. So, my question was, "Would he tip more than $20, if it was his own money?"
Just curious...

Actually yes. The issue was that the total bill with tip ended up being 155, so while on in the car filling out the credit slip I rounded up to 160. I would have done the same thing if it was my credit card just for the sake of easy math.

FOX - must not have signed our negotiated agreement
This is just another example of where FOX has changed the status quo - things that used to be, are no longer, merely because some FOX programer or money manager decided to do it that way - without any negotiation with the pilots at all.
So, I think we SHOULD press to test, even for $5.00, because of the principle of the matter.
