FDX - VTO max CR's
Not sure how to read the new FCIF
Looks like higher max's in some airframes...are we short bodies there?
Do you subtract the max split value (between high and min lines, 13 CR's) from these max's?
interesting

As usual, it's clear as mud. And probably some bastardization of the contract's intent.

The reason for this FCIF was to clarify to VTO holders what they could expect from their VTO bid if that bid contains specific trip requests. The problem that has arisen in the past few months is that a senior VTO holder bids for specific trips, he can hold those trips, but is then not awarded them because they go over the once 'mystical' max VTO credit hour limit. That limit is now made known to the pilot group, ergo senior VTO holder know that he won't be awarded a set of trips over that limit. Before this month, the limit was only known by the crew planners, not the pilots.

No, the real reason for the FCIF is to try to get a few more people to bid HKG. Did you notice the highest secondary lines will go to HKG. The message, if you want to make the most money on secondary lines, bid HKG.

You don't think the company would try to show their hand. They just included the other two aircraft just so others wouldn't get suspicious.
