777 Pay= Airbus Pay FDX

I'm with huck. Have a bid with the current Pay rates, when it goes to the geezers, tell the company that we'll fly it for below narrowbody rates.
(The above is said in Jest, but the anti geezer sentiment is real)

If you can hold the 777 and don't bid it, you are part of the problem.

It seems pretty simple to me. No 777 pilot should fly the plane until we get a good rate. Unfortunately, nobody should have bid the 777 until we had a good rate. Once they are trained, I guess they have no choice but to fly it. We had leverage, again, and squandered it. Whats new!?

Oh but we do have a payrate. DW looked me firmly in the eye about a year ago and said "We will get A-380 rates for the 777" I asked him in front of an audience to get it in writing. He then said that would weaken our position by acting as if it were even possible that they could be something else. I told him that if he didn't get it in writing, we were screwed.
The MEC was more concerned about thwarting Micro's recall efforts that day by stuffing the ballot box with proxies.
The 777 is not in my standing bid.

I am all for these knuckle heads bidding it. If they are stupid enough to subject themselves to training, currency checkrides every couple months and 18 hour legs to the same couple destinations for the same money as I make in the Mad Dog then go for it. Maybe it will draw some of the geezers off the top. Have fun.
