Makes me think of that Capital One commercial "What's in YOUR Standing bid?"

excellent idea!!

that would kill two birds with one stone:

1) all the Bubbas (aka losers) who bid it would suffer a little bit for doing so - but still get the ego boost/"prestige" of flying a shiny new jet - big woop!

2) more negotiating capital in our favor when it comes to negotiating the work rules - "well, we took a hit on the pay rates, now how are you going to compensate us (as a group) for said hit?"

nice! I like it!

Heard in recurrent last week that the Company ran a bid and every 777 seat was filled with an over 60 guy. They can't have it pay more due to the fact that all the over 60 crowd will bid it. Info from a Flex guy not BG in his stand up.....

Run the Bid. Fills with Geezers. Problem children identified. Tell Company we'll fly it for Boeing Rates.

Fills inversely, the company will be offering us the 380 rates.

Company knows they will have to pay....eventually.

No need to pay now when they can pay later.

Prediction... The company will use 777 pay as leverage to get us to agree to a LOA limiting the 777 right seat to < age 60 and the crew force will approve said LOA by a wide margin.

Huh? Leverage He11, Not only would I love to throw the ND's under the wheels of the 777, I'd probably pay a little money to do it just for the satisfaction. I'm in!

Default Huh?

NS? Seriously, I don't get it.....what does that mean? I prefer "Proponent of Hysteria"

Hey Fox, why don't you use some of your Shoulder.....I mean "Windfall" money to buy yourself a sense of humor.

JJ is a friend of mine, it was directed toward him....in jest.

Even though you always probably think so....its not always about you FH.
