UPS or Fedex?

BTW,
1. Does anybody gets called for an interview without doing the "meet and greet" at FedEx? Any lucky pilots out there?
2. I know mins are mins, but what is a "realistic average" on flying hours to be considered for an interview?

Thanks for the input guys...

2. In my class it seemed the civilians had 4000-6000 TT (except one person who knew the right person) and everyone had some jet time. I don't think UPS cares that much about PIC turbine, just that you have the minimum 1000.
I don't really know about military time except that one guy in class told me he "barely" met the minimums (really nice guy though....I am not surprised he got hired).

Freightpuppy,
.... and all other Brownies out there.
I haven't found any information about UPS giving an extra .2 or .3 per sortie for military guys. Is there any Intel out there regarding conversion time at UPS?
Does anybody knows if "P. Donahue" is the right person to send an e-mail to, regarding internal recommendations?
If anybody has any Intel please PM me, if you don't want to post it in the forum.
Next week I'll visting my folks on vacation time (not paid, 'cause I don't have any vacation), and I'll be stoping by to see one of my old managers at UPS. (Like I mentioned in another forum, I used to work there when I was in college, 10+ years ago)
Cheers

Any way you can PM me the e-mail and/or name of the appropiate individual in that position. I'll be visiting one of my ex-managers next week, and I will like to give her the right info.
Thanks

DONQ-
Here is my email [email protected]. Thanks for the help. I just met Phil D. and seemed like he was still the head of hiring when I talked to him.
Thanks again
