F Street Station: The skinny

Not Slice, but party to the exchange unfortunately ...
If the owner would have admitted that his staff screwed up that night. He sorta' did in a round about way. That would be a start.
If he informed them how to deal with the situation more effectively next time. Even better.
They have possibly exposed him to legal action, he didn't seem overly concerned.
He seems content to brush it under the rug, am I wrong Slice ?
I guess what I am saying, on any given night, if you happen to be the one knocked on your can at F Street, don't expect the staff to handle it any differently than our experience.
THAT is what I am NOT OK with !

I LOVE Darwins, but have to admit I am usually gone by 2300. If you dont want to chat wth the locals dont go there. If you just want to hang and drink, great spot to grab a stool. For us commoners of course.

Kimmy and Lorena Bobbitt probably both have the same DNA going on.

Yeah, there's really very little emotion in this for me. I'm not angry anymore. I'm also not excited that this is going to cost him business. It's the reason I held off posting the first few days. Just presenting the story so others can watch their ass if they decide to hang there and if they do have trouble it's not due to walking in uninformed like we were prior to Friday night.

I'm sorry but I believe my UPS bro's reported this incident as accurately as possible and I believe that the effect of this incident is one on the benefits of being part of a group larger than yourself, just like firemen, policemen, etc... What happened there is BS, but the staff's reaction is out of this world total BS. Lots have mild events have built up to this that everyone has shared, but this event was the tipping point. The place has changed, the staff has changed, Danny has changed. The business that we have brought there for many years is not welcome anymore. Everyone here should make that abundantly clear through telephone calls are more importantly through internet restaurant reviews that this is not the place that is used to be. I for one will never spend one more dollar there because we all could have been G that night, and I would be lying in bed ****ed off with a hurt back. This was a crap moment further enhanced by a crap staff, and I don't know what else to say other than nothing short of a full boycott is in order...
Now who is going to make the T-shirts and the stickers, lets get this ***** rolling...

I concur ...
Slice spoke with the owner today. I was a late arrival and only caught part of the discussion.
The owner's reaction, in summary ...
It's a bar, crap happens...
Drunk kids (and the owner personally knows the kid and his family) do stupid things
He stood up for his entire staff. Which I don't exactly fault him for ... but it doesn't make it right. Just makes him a good boss.
He apologized, No one will be fired, they have received numerous calls ...
He didn't deny the lack of provocation (he watched the security tapes), but he didn't think the hit was all that hard ... whatever.
For me the place was just convenient to the Hilton. Nothing more, nothing less. So it is not going to hurt to avoid the place ...
As always ... YMMV

So how do we keep track of the F St DP drinkers? Or would that be politically incorrect to post names here.
